Our
Philosophy.
Serra means greenhouse — a space for incubation, disciplined growth, and the careful development of ideas over time. We approach complex chemistry through long-term thinking, technical rigor, and collaborative problem-solving across development and manufacturing environments.

Our Team
Serra is built by chemists, operators, analysts, and production teams working across research, scale-up, and manufacturing every day.
The company grew from bench chemistry into integrated manufacturing, with technical programs developed under guidance from a Professor Emeritus and through collaborations with leading universities and specialized partners.
Better with every batch.
Some chemists spend hours debating impurity profiles and reaction mechanisms over chai. Others quietly become the person everyone calls when a reaction behaves differently at scale than it did in the lab. Across Serra, teams refine yield, recovery, purification, and execution batch after batch. The objective is not only to make chemistry work once, but to make it repeatable, scalable, and commercially viable over time.
Scientific thinking. Practical execution.
Serra’s team brings together experience from pharmaceutical, agrochemical, flavor & fragrance, and industrial manufacturing environments. Some come from bench chemistry, others from production floors, scale-up programs, and troubleshooting under real operating constraints. Strong ideas are challenged openly. Some of Serra’s best process improvements came from people willing to question assumptions others stopped noticing.
Tight teams. Full ownership.
Production leaders at Serra often come from chemistry backgrounds themselves, creating tighter continuity between development and manufacturing. Analytical teams work across GC, HPLC, and purification systems, but much of their value comes from years of pattern recognition around chemistry that rarely behaves exactly the same way twice. The structure is intentionally lean, allowing decisions to move quickly while maintaining accountability across technical and manufacturing programs.

We’re building Serra for the long term — a place where responsibility is earned quickly, ownership is expected, and good ideas can come from anywhere.
